Safety Tips for Hauling Anhydrous Ammonia
It's that time of year again: Anhydrous Ammonia season.
Below are a few important tips to do BEFORE you tow a nurse tank to your field:

Below are a few important tips to do BEFORE you tow a nurse tank to your field:
- Make sure towing connections are in good condition, correctly adjusted and firmly secured.
- Hitches are secure and equipped with locking pins.
- Safety chains are securely connected
- The emergency five gallon water tank is filled with fresh water
- You must make sure all valves are closed when driving down the road (even when empty)
Follow these tips to increase the likelihood you won't have a problem in the field.
