Good morning!

It has been a quiet start to the markets once again with corn trading steady while beans are higher.  Soybeans are getting their strength from additional rumors of Chinese soybean purchases – no confirmation yet.  They are rumored to be buying from the U.S. for Jan/Feb – when they start looking for Feb/Mar… Brazilian beans should start to work into the mix.

Outside of that we don’t have much to talk about – we can always throw the “fiscal cliff” topic into the conversation as any developments one way or the other tend to sweep across all markets.  Weather reports seem unchanged so far today with ARG rain still expected to dissipate by the weekend.

Currently
Corn is steady to up 1c
Soybeans are up 5 to 7 cents
